The Center for Nonprofit Advancement has conducted focus groups and worked with our advisory board to identify the most important needs of nonprofit organizations in our service area. One of the top priorities we were asked to address is the overwhelming need to establish a vibrant membership group to serve as a vehicle for networking and collaboration within the nonprofit community and to provide a vehicle to interact with local agencies, funders, and business.
Membership allows us to harness the collective power of our community of organizations to be able to share resources, discuss issues, devise strategic solutions, and clearly articulate the actions that will benefit our clients, our organizations, and our communities. Getting together will enable us to leverage funding, design better programs, and achieve outcomes for more effective long-term results!
Yearly membership dues are determined by the size of your organization's Annual Budget, so even the smallest of nonprofits can afford to join. Dues are collected on a rolling basis; members pay dues upon joining CNA, and then renew one year from that date.
The determination of whether your nonprofit is small, mid-size, or large is based on the scale below:
Small Organization Budget < $150,000.00
Mid-Size Organization Budget >$150,000.00 and < $300,000.00
Large Organization Budget > $300,000.00
Members receive the following benefits:
o Access to members-only online resources to help improve their skills and awareness
o Free access to quarterly networking and “Meet the Funder” events
o Priority for consulting requests and discounts on training and RAP Nonprofit Conference
o Inclusion in an online membership directory with organization and individual profiles
